That’s the vision of the Caring Team at Tassel™, and it shapes how we interact, support, and celebrate one another in both our professional and personal lives. 

As a remote company with team members spread across four countries, creating and strengthening community is a priority. To understand what that could look like, we asked ourselves:

  • In a digital environment, how does community bond?
  • How can we purposefully connect with team members we don’t work with directly?
  • As we better understand our clients’ personal challenges, what are some ways we can care for them with intentionality?
  • How can we care for our team members’ families?

The answers to these questions guide our annual Caring Outreach Plan.

Here are just a few ways the Caring Team at Tassel puts the plan into action:

Caring for Our Teammates

Interest Channels: Chat channels where team members connect over shared interests, from gardening and cooking to book clubs and family-focused topics.

New Team Member Onboarding: Every new team member is greeted with a welcome package, including a card signed by the whole team and a small gift to help them feel part of the family from day one.

Workiversary: We commemorate each team member’s hiring anniversary with a personalized celebration.

Success Advocate: Dedicated advocates support new hires through their first 90 days, helping them integrate into Tassel’s culture.

Needs-Based Giving: Whether it’s a card, gift, or message of support, we recognize moments in our teammates’ lives that call for celebration or compassion.

Working Moms & Dads: We honor our team’s working parents with cards and gifts that acknowledge their dual roles at home and work.

Caring for Their Families

Back to School: We recognize the start of a new school year with a prayer card and gift for the children of our team members, celebrating their growth and achievements, too.

Anniversary Celebration: Annual milestones are honored, whether it’s a wedding anniversary or a birthday, with thoughtful cards and gifts.

Holiday Gifts: School-aged children of team members receive special Christmas gifts.

Caring for Those They Care For

Client Giving: When clients share a need or success, our team responds with videos and notes of encouragement or prayer.

Pro Bono Projects: Tassel’s expertise is shared with other organizations, from branding and website development to social media strategy.

Compassion Sponsorships: With over 20 sponsored children globally, our team members collectively write more than 150 letters each year, creating a positive impact across the world.

Adoption Support: We offer financial support for those who wish to grow their families through adoption.

Health & Wellness at Tassel™

Building a culture of wellness by encouraging healthy habits to better support ourselves, our families, and our clients.

At Tassel, we believe that by creating a culture that prioritizes health, we empower our team to bring their best selves to work. But when you’re a remote company, setting and achieving wellness goals might seem like a challenge — especially when you’re physically spread out across multiple countries.

Our Health & Wellness team finds creative ways to encourage monthly activities, challenges, and wellness conversations that help us all prioritize health.

Here are a few ways Tassel supports wellness for every team member:

Monthly Wellness Topics: Regular themes that cover various aspects of health, from stress management to sleep habits and nutrition to fitness, fostering education and personal growth.

Wellness Challenges: Team-wide challenges — like hydration trackers, organization goals, or team fitness — add a dose of friendly competition and support in reaching wellness milestones.

Health Incentives: We offer incentives to encourage healthy lifestyle choices, rewarding team members for reaching personal goals and completing challenges.

Support & Resources: The Health & Wellness team regularly shares wellness tips, articles, and resources to inspire everyone to set achievable goals that lead to lasting habits.
